Let it be – London West End! For the first time ever, The Beatles back catalogue will be performed in an outstanding theatrical concert packed with over twenty of The Beatles greatest hits. Tickets are now on sale for the new Let It Be West End production which is running for a limited season at the London Prince of Wales Theatre September 2012 to celebrate The Beatles 50th anniversary of their first single, ‘Love Me Do’.
The new West End show follows The Beatles journey from their humble roots in Liverpool’s Cavern Club through to the height of their fame and their later studio masterpieces. The Let It Be musical production uses video footage of The Beatles rise to the top and live performances of the Fab Four’s best-loved hits to tell their story.
Let It Be will be performed at the Prince of Wales Theatre, West End, London; the venue of The Beatles Royal Variety performance in 1963, when John Lennon issued his famous command, “Would the people in the cheaper seats clap your hands. And the rest of you, if you’ll just rattle your jewellery…”
Tickets to Let It Be musical give audiences the opportunity to witness live renditions of well known songs, including their early hits such as ‘Twist and Shout’ and ‘All My Lovin’’, as well as worldwide classics ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Come Together’ and, of course, ‘Let It Be’.
Let It Be tickets are on sale for a limited season from Monday 24th September 2012 (with previews beginning on Friday 14th September 2012) until Saturday 19th January 2013.
